A Document I’d Like to See

FIFA’s investigation of Michael Bradley’s alleged incident with Larrionda is on everyone’s minds.  What I hope will be an integral part of the FIFA Disciplinary Committee’s consideration is Larrionda’s incident report for the red card.  Here is the official FIFA instructions to referees on what to include in their reports.

I am not sure how much he’ll be able to write using these guidelines, perhaps:

Player went after the ball with a sliding tackle in the 87′ minute of a close, semi-final match.  It was his first foul of the match.  He made contact with the ball, but also touched the opposing player, who was not injured.

Still, I would like to see it.
