As the name implies, US Soccer by the Numbers is a blog authored by and for U.S. supporters who are interested in the statistics associated with the U.S. team.  It is an unofficial blog and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way related to the U.S. Soccer Federation (which refers to itself as “U.S. Soccer”).

Although we sometimes compile our own, most of the statistics used on this site are taken from other sources and compiled in new ways.  Credit is always given to the original collector of the data:  where possible we link directly to the data set, but often we simply acknowledge the collector.  We expect that the same courtesy will be given to our work when it is used by others.

We make every effort to provide accurate information, but we are a small operation and generally rely on the work (and accuracy) of others.  As a result, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information and your use of any information on this site is at your own risk.  If you believe that any of our statistics is incorrect, please let us know and provide whatever information you can to help us correct it.
